Amelia Wray (born April 26, 2005) is an American actress, singer, and dancer who portrays Sophia on Sydney to the Max. She also played a small role in a short film called “One Starry Starry Night” who she played ironically the same name of hers, Amelia on.
Amelia is a multi-talented actor and singer. She learned of her love of acting, music and dancing at the early age of six doing Jr. Civic Theatre and commercial work. She hasn't stopped yet and continues to grow, now working in television and film as well. Amelia's first role in an Equity theatre was that of Tiny Tim at The Indiana Repertory Theatre. She then went on to doing multiple shows at her local Jr. Civic Theatre. Unstoppable with her passion, she took on the lead roles in multiple productions and venues such as Young Alison in Fun Home, Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden, and Little Red in Into the Woods. In the midst of all of her theatre endeavors Amelia started doing commercials and had her first chance at film. One Starry Starry Night, a documentary by J. Andy Murphy, was the beginning of what would become her desire to head to Los Angeles, California. As of date Amelia is best known for her role of Sophia in Disney Channel’s Sydney to the Max.
Amelia is as passionate about family and friends as she is her love for acting and singing. Amelia's twin brother, Mitchell Wray is also an actor and her best friend. Amelia has been called "the one shot wonder" by many directors and is known for taking direction and immediately catching on. Amelia has been such a positive influence to many and continues to grow daily in her love of life in general.
